Cookie Hands

Yes, you are a cookie monster. You have a certain way of eating cookies, just like the way I used to eat mine. You actually split them and only eat the filling of these Oreos cookies, or whatever cookie with the filling. You don't eat the outside and they are soon piling up. Leaving tracks behind of what you've done. I did the same thing too ... Funny.
But what amazes me is that every night when we lay at bed, I like to kiss your tiny hands. Your hands always smell like cookies. Even if that day you don't eat one. Always smell like one ... I love your cookie hands, sweetheart. It smells wonderful and I never cease to wonder.

the closest thing to heaven is you. Nok, nok .... whenever my days are heavy, at the end of the day, I'll see you again, and the world is a happier place.

Crawling & Standing Up

Baby love ... Indylea.
That's what everybody calls you in daycare Nak... All teachers calling you baby love. Ooohh ...
At 7.5 months you start standing up on the crib. I missed your first moment, but your sitter Ms. Monica & Cynthia were proudly reporting to me of your progress.
At 8 months you are crawling and roaming all over the place, it's so amazing how this little creature is now ppeking up her head and little smile. You used to be so tiny and fragile, now exploring the world around you. You roam from the living room to kitchen, now with the steady speed of expert crawler .. hehe ..

Ngoceh

Peri kecilku, Indylea sudah mulai bisa bersuara sekarang. Suaranya merdu sekali ... rambling ah uh, babbling words in her tiny mouth. She's blowing raspberry too ... Rasanya indah dan sejuk hatiku kalo denger ngocehnya.

Beberapa hari lalu si peri kecil ngoceh2 di kasur, kakaknya memandangi cermat dengan bola mata yang takjub. Perlahan-lahan dia bilang "She says I love you" .... "oooh, I love you too baby Indy".
Padahal, yang terdengar cuman brrr...kuwaka ... brr.. uwoo ... Tapi rupanya buat hati seorang kakak, that rambling words mean I love you.

Aku kadang tertegun on how the simplest things in life like that has so much beauty.

Pick up fr Daycare

Today the daycare called me. Indy was throwing up and having diarhea. Ternyata di day care, baby yang lain juga throwing up and not feeling good. When i picked her up, she was cleaned up already and looked fine. However Cynthia was not there ... I wonder why.

I took Dylan and Indy back to office cause I was at lunch break. Luckily I could leave early because of the holiday. I told my boss that I had to leave and he was cool with it.

Indy didn't throw up anymore but I noticed she still had diarhea. Overall, I could see it was nothing to be concern of though.

2 Months - Doctor Visit

Weight: 13 lbs
Height: 23.3 inches
Head: 15.6 cm

She's actually 3 months old already. We had to reschedule because the vaccines run out nationwide.
Princess Indy gets 4 shots. I, the mother, do not dare to see when those needles stuck into the flesh of my beautiful child. It's too painful for me cause I know she'll be wailing for mercy. I just hold and kiss her endlessly and keep saying .. "Mama is here nak, mama is here.."

She cried in that long pain wail of course. She gets a mild fever up to 100.9 F. I give her Tylenol and at 4 AM the fever's gone. But I notice she doesn't move her legs too much. Kasian nak

Hallo sinok,
Mama gemes banget sama sinok sayang, pengennya meluk sinok terus. matanya besar mandangin mama terutama kalo lagi nenen, lucuuu banget. Sinok suka diajak ngobrol, terus bisa ngomong .. ooh, uuu ... mau ngomong ya nak? ... Suaranya merdu sekali, so girlie ..
Hari ini dingin sekali dan mama setiap kali liat kamu jadinya ngantuk melulu, pengen ngeloni sinok terus ... males ya?? .. hehe ... biar deh, sebentar lagi mama ndak bisa ngeloni sinok Indy siang2 ... mama harus go back to work. So be it .. I just want to be with you right now.
I love you so much baby girl.

Pilek

Sinok sayang hari ini sakit pilek, bunyi senggruk senggruk. Mama sedot pake bulb tapi cuma dapet sedikit, terus mama sedot lagi pake mulut aja. Sinok bingung dan takjub .. kasian sayang, cepet sembuh ya.
Sekarang nggak suka minum botol, paling habisnya cuman 2 oz habis itu botolnya disundul sundul nggak mau minum lagi. sinok lebih suka nenen, habis lebih enak ya sayang.

Swing Saviour

Indy, you don't like to sleep in your bed dear. I put you down and in 10 min you'll be screaming and wailing. So I'm glad they invented swing. It keeps your mama sane, darling. You have this habbit that you'll cry and cry and cry, but as soon as somebody picks you up from the bed, you'll stop that whining completely.

What baby? You like to feel the warmth of someone close to you. This swing is a mind saviour and kakak said, you look like a princess sleeping in it :)

1 Month Check Up

Weight: 9 lbs 15 oz
Height: 21.8 inches
Head: 13.6 inches
Shot: Hepatitis B

This time, it's with Dr. Tang. Everything is good, Indy is healthy, not to concern about the poo poo thing unless there's blood in it. Dr. Tang said the weight and height development is very very good. Indy is on 75 percentile for weight and 50 something percentile for height. uhh, my chubby girl.

Indy got a Hep B shot today. She was screaming in pain when the nurse inserted the needle. the way she sounded, it broke my heart, i was already in tears. I kept holding her and said .. mama sini nak, mama disini ... sayang, sayang nok ... My baby love.

Second Month

Hey, I finally put up this blog to follow up my pregnancy. My second pregnancy. The reality that I;m pregnant doesn't hit me hard this time. I am not ready. But God has another plan for me. I was always being very careful about this. I found this a blessing in disguise. For now I think I have to stop worrying so much about what's coming and just enjoying the moment.
Not so enjoying it though, I feel nausea and I have to work. I really don't mind working actually. I have money coming in. That's great.
